| HSS Rajouri boys to represent J&K in Nehru Cup | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Oct 9 Winning the state football championship in under-17 age group, the boys of Higher Secondary School, Rajouri will be representing Jammu and Kashmir in the Nehru Cup (U-17) football tournament to be played at New Delhi in the end of this month. Earlier, in the last round robin league match, HSS Rajouri boys, representing district Rajouri, defeated Srinagar district. Other teams, Tyndale Bisco School and Jesus HSS Hiranagar represented districts of Srinagar and Kathua respectively. It may be recalled that the four finalist teams from both Kashmir and Jammu Divisions were invited for the competition to decide the champion, but only three could turn-up. Earlier, Assistant Director Youth Services and Sports, S S Bali advised the boys, especially from the winner Rajouri district to work hard for improved performance in the Nehru Cup. In the meantime, District Youth Services and Sports Officer Jammu, Jai Raj thanked those who assisted in making the event a success.
