Young National seeded cueist, Younis Kuchey today registered an easy straight frame victory over Shahzada Singh to advance into the second round of senior snooker in the 17th Srinagar district billiards and snooker championship being played at Billiards hall, Bakshi Stadium, here.
Other four cueists have also qualified for the second round winning their respective first round games played today.
The results: Touseef Mehraj bt Irfan Ahmed 2-0 (61-51, 53-41), Mudassir Aashiq bt Masid Fazli 2-1 (46-48, 68-41, 53-18); Owais Baba bt Mudassir Nath 2-1 (56-26, 51-57, 53-17); Fahad Hundoo bt Mehraj 2-1 (59-9, 21-58, 68-24); Younis Kuchey bt Shahzada Singh 2-0 (75-21, 71-8). |
