| PDP leader shocked over minor’s killing | | | Early Times Reporter

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) youth president and MLC Syed Basharat Bukhari has expressed shock and grief over brutal killing of a minor Gulshan a resident of Kupwara. Bukhari condemning the gruesome murder termed it as an irreparable tragedy and appealed the police authorities to work for curbing the anti-social elements who are on a rampage.
Bukhari has expressed concern over what he called increasing crime rate in Kashmir-globally known for its Sufi Culture. He has demanded a speedy investigations in the incident and a stern action against guilty.
He has appealed the authorities particularly police for taking effective measures so as to curb the growing menace of anti-social offences in the state. Bukhari observed that some elements with vested interests are hell-bent upon to malign the Sufi Culture of Kashmir and government should take steps to curtail them.
Gulshan daughter of Bahsir Ahmad a labourer in Kupwara was abducted by some unidentified persons on October 5. Strangulated her to death her body was recovered from Maize field in Trehgam. |
