| 22 residential houses gutted in Kashmir | | | Early Times Reporter Srinagar | Oct 10 More than twenty two residential buildings and a cowshed gutted in three separate fire incidents across the Kashmir during the last twenty four hours, official sources said. Official sources told News Agency of Kashmir that fire broke out at Nalbandh Pora Safakadal, Srinagar in which 20 houses were gutted, adding, however Fire and emergency services brought the fire under control with no loss of life reported. Fire broke out in two storied Kothar/ residential houses of Abdul Aziz Mir, son of Mohammad Ramzan and Reyaz Ahmad Mir, son of Jabar gutted both residents of Drugmulla, falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Kupwara causing major loss to the owners, Sources told NAK adding that the fire was brought under control before it could have engulfed other residential structures. He said that in another incident fire broke out at village Kral Check, falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Rajpora, in which one cow shed of Ghulam Hassan Mir, son of Amber Mir and residential house of Abdul Rehman Mir, son of Ashan Mir gutted. No loss of life or injury was reported. |
