Early Times Reporter Jammu | Oct 10 Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, Sudhanshu Pandey today held a meeting with senior officers of Bhadarwah Development Authority (BDA) to review and discuss the master plan for tourism promotion in Bhadarwah district, known as Chota-Kashmir. The meeting held detailed discussions to make the plan more effective and result-oriented besides deliberating upon several multi-pronged strategies in this regard. Elucidating several aspects of formulation of this ambitious plan, Chief Executive Officer, Bhadarwah Development Authority, Mr Talat Parvez informed that the plan will be prepared completely by December, 2007. After which the the virgin tourist destinations and other undeveloped tourist places will be identified and selected for development, he added. He further informed that this master plan will also help in the proper and realistic implementation of various tourism promotion and development projects prepared for Bhadarwah by the J&K Government. This will also open up new vistas of employment for the educated unemployed youth of the district, he added. Among others, ADC, Doda, Chief Executive Officer, Bhadarwah Development Authority, Mr Talat Parvez, Director Tourism, Jammu, Mr Ajay Khajuria, General Manager, JKTDC, Mr S.M Sawhney, Development Commissioner Town Planning, Director Local Bodies, Chief Executive Officer, Bhadarwah Development Authority, Conservator Forest and other senior officers of concerned departments were also present in the meeting. |
