With a couple of seeded cueists getting bye in the first round, the quarterfinals line-up has been drawn in senior billiards in the ongoing 17th Jammu district billiards and snooker championship underway at Billiards Hall, M A Stadium, here today.
Those entered the last eight stage winning today’s matches were Sumesh Turki, Vishal Abrol, Vidit Gawri and Kuldeep Sharma.
It was an easy win for Kuldeep who beat Abhishek Khajuria 314-151 while Vishal Abrol had a narrow escape against Sanjeev Gupta. Vishal beat Sanjeev by a slight margin of just 11 points with score on board 365-356.
