Jammu wing of the Jammu and Kashmir Football Association today conducted trials for the under-14 and uner-19 age groups for the forthcoming national championships to be held at Gurgaon in Haryana under the banner of All India Football Association.
The selection committee of the Jammu wing has picked up 20 boys from each group for attending a joint three-day trial sessions with Kashmir wing boys from October 17 for the state teams.
Today’s selections were made by selection committee chairman, Rajinder Abrol, who was accompanied by two other committee members, Eleiza Sotra and Yusuf Don. Resident secretary of the Jammu wing, Shiv Pal Sharma was also present besides the Sports Council coaches, Sat Pal Singh and Vishwamitra. |
