Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) patron Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, President Ms Mehbooba Mufti and other senior leaders of the party have extended their Eid greetings to people of the state, country and abroad.
"After fasting and prayers for one month, Eid-ul-Fitr is the day for thanking the Almighty and spreading his love among fellow human beings, through prayers, goodwill, generosity, kindness and charity. The festival brings with it the message of universal peace, tolerance, brotherhood and compassion. On this happy occasion of the festival of Eid, we send our greetings and best wishes to all our people in state country and abroad," Sayeed and Ms Mehbooba have said in their message.
The other senior leaders including Abdul Azziz Zargar, Tariq Hamid Kara, Mohammad Dilawar Mir, Abdul Rehman Veeri, Molivi Iftikhar Hussain Ansari, Peerzada Mansoor Hussain, Qazi Mohammad Afzal, Ghulam Hassan Mir, Mohammad Khalil Bandh, Nizam-u-Din Bhat, Syed Basharat Bukhari, Altaf Bukhari and other leaders of the party have said that the sharing and charity associated with the festival exudes the spirit of caring, brotherhood, love and compassion which would go a long way to ensure welfare of the humanity. "May this great festival foster goodwill and amity and fill the lives of all with peace and prosperity," they have added. |
