The devotees all over the country and even abroad will watch and listen to the daily Aarti during ensuing Navratras direct from Mata Vaishno Devi Bhavan on Trikuta Hills in Jammu and Kashmir. ‘We have permitted electronic channels and a FM station to telecast/ broadcast the Aarti live from the Bhavan during Navratras’, Additional Chief Executive Officer, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, Mr Puneet Kumar said. The coverage is being regulated and streamlined to ensure that Yatris are not put to any inconvenience, he added. Meanwhile, according to a spokesman of the Shrine Board, BIG 92.7 FM has been allowed to transmit live Aarti from the Bhavan for its listeners around the country during Navratras beginning from October 12. ‘There will be no commercial break in between the airing of Aarti’, he added. The BIG 92.7 FM Cluster Head of Jammu and Kashmir, Mr Jagmeet Singh Bahri described the initiative to share and celebrate the spirit of Navratra celebrations with devotees by reaching direct to their homes in various cities of the country. Radio Jockey Seema would be stationed at the Bhavan to record live links and transmit the same to the BIG 92.7 studios across the country. ‘Our effort has been to provide maximum facilities to the visiting pilgrims to the Holy Cave Shrine besides facilitating live telecast or broadcast for quenching the spiritual thirst of lakhs of devotes, who cannot make it to the Mata’s Bhavan’, said Chief Executive Officer, Dr Arun Kumar. The Chief Executive Officer and the Additional Chief Executive Officer, SMVDSB are coordinating the arrangements for smooth pilgrimage during the festive season. Governor, Lt. General (Retd) S K Sinha, who is also the Chairman of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board will offer the prayers and participate in the Mahayagya on commencement of Navratras from Friday. |
