| CEO-Dorje inaugurates MAC building | | | Early Times Reporter

The Chief Executive Councillor (CEO), LAHDC Chering Dorje inaugurated newly constructed building of MAC, Achinathang today constructed at a cost of Rs. 6 lacs under rural development agency.
On the occasion the said LAHDC with financial support of TATA have succeeded to bring a CT Scan machine in Leh SNM Hospital, which would largely help to diagnose and treat poor patents, otherwise people have to go to Delhi or other places for treatments at high costs. He said there are many vacant post of Doctors in Leh District but despite of LAHDC’s consistent approach with the state Govt. these vacant post have not filled up yet.
Executive Councillor Health also spoke on the occasion and said that LAHDC is committed to provide a satisfying health service to the people of Leh district. He said that procurement of good equipment in Leh Hospital, quality medicines and creation of health infrastructure at village level are some of the priority which the LAHDC. The Executive councilor Norboo Lampa was also present on the occasion. |
