| Stay on JDA administrator’s suspension hailed | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | October 12 Shopkeeper Association General Bus Stand Jammu has hailed the judgment given by Justice Nirmal Singh of J&K High Court, Jammu wing staying the suspension of Gurucharan Singh, Administrator Jammu Development Authority. A meeting of the association held here today under the Chairmanship of its President Ashwani Sharma described Gurucharan Singh as a highly competent and honest officer, who has been working with dedication to clean the Aegean Stables in the JDA. Whereas some highly corrupt and inefficient officers in the JDA have not been touched by the authorities and who are even getting undue promotions, as they are favourites of the higher authorities, the honest officers, who refuse to collaborate with the corrupt officers in their underhand deals are victimise and harassed by the authorities. The association has appealed the Chief Minister to bring to book the corrupt elements in the JDA and spare harassment to the honest officers. The meeting brought on record that the bus stand shopkeepers are grateful to the Administrator Gurucharan Singh for solving their burning problems and working towards maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the bus stand premises as well as removing all encroachments.
