With confirmation of citing the new moon, the holy day of Eid-ul-Fitr shall now be observed on Sunday.
Even though in may parts of India, like Kerala, Eid was celebrated today following the schedule of Saudi Arabia, but no official confirmation could be obtained from the Ulemas for observance of Eid on Saturday. Therefore the Eid shall now be observed on Sunday and tomorrow will continue as last day of fast. |
