Air Force Station Udhampur conducted various events to mark the celebrations of the Indian Air Force Platinum Jubilee anniversary over a one year period. A bicycle expedition team of this Station, under the aegis of WAC, was organized from Udhampur to Wagah Border via Samba, Pathankot and Amritsar in December last year. Also, a trekking expedition was conducted in March 2007. The expedition was planned in Himachal Pradesh covering a distance of 70 km through wilderness including ascent / descent to 10,000 feet.
