Army claimed to have recovered huge quantity of arms and ammunition from general area Gulgam forests
Officials source said that 11-GR Camp Trehgam on specific information about the presence of a militant hideout in general area of Gulgam. They said that the troops raided and the area and conduct search operation.
Following arms and ammunition was recovered from the hideout made in forests which includes 1 AK rifle, 02 Pistols, two Bore rifles, one AK Magazine, two Sniper Magazines, seven rounds of Pistol ammunition, 680 rounds of AK ammunition, one PPG ammunition, eight Radio sets, one Anti Tank Mine, 58 UBGL, five Detonators, 4.5 Kgs PEK with plastic, seven Kgs destroyed RDX, 19 Kgs destroyed Explosive, one destroyed POK Hand grenade, four destroyed Chinese Handgrenades, five Meters destroyed Cordex, and two destroyed Anti Tank Rifle grenades. Police has registered a case in this regard. |
