| BJP facilitates Prof. Gupta | | | Early Times Reporter

The state BJP unit today felicitated former union minister Prof. Chaman Lal Gupta on being awarded ‘Rashtra Ratan Samman’ by Vishwa Jagrati Mission at New Delhi on October 2.
The award was honoured to Prof. Gupta by Sudhanshu Maharag at a function held at New Delhi in connection for rendering self less service to the common people of the state.
Speaking on the occasion the state president a BJP Ashok Khajuria said, Prof. Gupta played a leading role in forming BJP Government in Gujarat. He said Jammu people fed proud in having a leader of his stature. He said, present congress led coalition government has totally failed to mitigate the basic problems of the people and added Mangat Ram Sharma, Raman Bhalla and Yogesh Sawhney did nothing for Jammu people.
Criticizing the UPA government at centre, he said, day by day prices of essential commodities are touching new height and Govt. failed to check it. He appealed to the people to defeat Congress and its allies in the elections when held. He further said in coming assembly election BJP will increase its seat in assembly.
While expressing his gratitude to Vishwa Jagriti Mission, Prof. Gupta said, BJP workers throughout the country and working hard for the betterment of common people.
He said in coming elections both for assemblies or parliament BJP will come out victorious. He appealed to people to vote for BJP which is committed for over all development in the country irrespective caste, creed, religion etc.
Among others present on the occasion were K.K. Gupta, Shamsher Singh Manhas, Dr. Ramakant Dubey, Ram Sahai, T.R., Gupta, Rajinder Motial, D.D. Sharma, Balbir Ram, Subash Jandyal and Priya Sethi. |
