Congress MLA and J&K Schedule Caste and Schedule Ttribe Advisory Borad chairman G.L. Chalotra who was elected with a record margin of votes in 2002 Assembly elections was felicitated in an impressive function today.
He highlighted his achievements of which he has promised to the people of this constituency during an election campaign with regard to development of roads, upgradation of Middle school to Higher secondary and power houses have been met till now out of his constituency development fund.
Addressing a press meet after felicitation Chalotra appreciated role of Azad and hailed his decision on Roshni Act.
“There are some dissidents in the party who are striving that I should not get party ticket as they envy my popularity and hoped that the party will shoulder responsibility to me in future elections,” he said and added that they should come forward with their grievances. |
