Minister for Health and Medical Education, Mangat Ram Sharma today visited Government Medical College Jammu and took the round of different wards along with Principal and Administrator of the college.
Sharma interacted with patients and attendants thereby ensuring medicare facilities are provided in the prestigious government hospital. He took stock of the position of medicines and other functioning of hospital. He expressed his entire satisfaction over the functioning of the doctors and para-medical staff in providing best type of treatment to the patients and hoped for better and cordial relation between them.
The Minister also allowed the authorities for utilization of hospitals development fund for up-gradation in the dialysis, emergency and burn cases wards. In OPD steel chairs would be provided while in blood donation modern coaches would be provided in addition, construction of bath rooms and special wards was also approved. |
