| PDP, NCP extend greetings | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Oct 13 While greeting the people, PDP Vice President Ved Mahajan, MLC said that the party believed in true secular values of life and co-existence. Hoping and praying for peace, progress, amity, brotherhood and communal harmony, the leaders of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) including General Secretary Daman Bhasin Secretaries Asgar Ali and Renu Azad extended greetings and good wishes to the people of J&K on the festival of Eid-ul-Fiter and Navratras. The confluence of pious Eid-ul-Fiter and Navratra festivals should be considered as divine for the people of Jammu and Kashmir State in particular and the entire country in general. Former minister and president nationalist congress party (NCP) Thakur Randhir Singh on behalf of all ranks of the party have extended greetings and good wishes to the people of state on the auspicious occasions of Id-ul-Fitr and Navratras. According to press release Singh has said it has been a great tradition in Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh since centuries people irrespective of caste, creed and religion celebrated religious festivals collectively and state is known as cradle of secularism. Singh prayed for peace, prosperity and will being of all the people of three regions of the state. |
