| Three LeT militant arrested at Kishtwar | | | Early Times Reporter

A joint party of police and Special Task Force (STF) today arrested three hardcore militants in the area and busted network of the outfit. According to reports acting on an information that some militants were hidden in Pati Mohalla area of Kishtwar, a team led by STF In charge Gurmeet Singh under the supervision of SP Kishtwar Mumtaz Ahmed and DIG Faroq Ahmed Khan swung into action and launched a search operation in the area.
Sources said during the search, the team cordoned off a house in the area where the militants were hidden and after long efforts the team managed to arrest three militants with arms and ammunition.
The arrested militants have been identified as Nissar Ahmed alias Abu Mahaz son of Gulam Mohd, Gulam Mohd Shah alias Abu Qasim both resident of Pati Mohalla and Faroq Ahmed alias Abu Sofia son of Abdul Rashid resident of Trungi Bachan and recovered three AK rifles, 4 magazines, 65 rounds, 2 grenades and some other things from their possession and took them to safe house for further interrogation. |
