| Bhagat reviews functioning of SSA | | | Early Times Reporter

To check the functioning of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA), State Project Director of SSA, Mr J.L Bhagat convened a meeting of officers at Udhampur the other day.
The Zonal Education Officers, Zonal Education Planning Officers, District Resource persons, Engineer wing of SSA and other concerned officers were also present on the occasion.
Chief Education Officer Mr. V.M Raina briefed the meeting about the working of SSA in District Udhampur. Stressing upon effective implementation of schemes for the benefit of general masses, Mr Bhagat directed the concerned officers to gear the pace of various ongoing works in the district.
Officers and field staff apprised him their problems upon which he assured to solve their problems on priority.
Later Mr Bhagat visited office of the Zonal Education Officer Udhampur, Government City High School and Middle School Gopa Mandir, Udhampur. He also inspected the construction work of BRC building of zone Udhampur, additional class rooms of City High School, Primary School and Gopa Mandir School building and appreciated the implementation of various programmes under SSA scheme. Mr. Bhagat appealed the SSA functionaries to work with zeal and dedication to achieve the goals set under SSA. |
