| 2-day inter-college boxing meet begins | | | Early Times Reporter

Eight colleges have turned up in the two-day annual inter-college men’s boxing competitions being organized by the Department of Physical Education at Police Stadium, here today.
On the opening day, first round of quarterfinals followed by the semi-finals were in progress when the last report was filed. Hectic schedule marked the opening day schedule with competitions starting at 4 pm. Earlier, the boxers underwent weighing at the Department of Physical Education in the morning.
Competition is being conducted in all the 12 age groups starting from 48 kg (Light Fly) to above 91 kg (Super Heavy Weight). |
