President Janta Dal (s) Dhanraj Bagotra addressed several meetings at villages in Nagrota today and stressed the need for adopting old routes of villages like pehla Darshan Kot Kandoli mandir-nagrotas Pangalli, Shiva, Thanda Pani and its adjacent villages be developed as shortest route enroute Jammu to Katra town as it will cater the needs of the these village people.
He demanded from the government that the remaining revenue records be released in favour of farmers and the same has not been issued till now.
He asserted that the villagers of Katal Batyal had to cross river tawi on boat to pay obeisance to their gramin devta namely “Pahar Devta” and in this regard demanded construction of bridge over river tawi.
He also criticized PDP leaders Mufti Mohd Sayeed and Mehbooba Mufti for advocating demands of demilitarisation and goaded the centre and state governments to curb the militancy with iron hands. |
