| RR launches employment oriented course | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Oct 16 To provide employment oriented vocational training to the unemployed youth , a 3-month long Animal Husbandry course organized by Uniform Force, as a part of Operation Sadbhavana, commenced here today.. Thirty unemployment youth from Gool, Gulabgarh, Budhal, Mahore are attending this course. The course is being run under the aegis of 27 Army Dog Unit with the active support from the State Animal Husbandry Department. Brigadier KSS Guleria, Officiating GoC, Uniform Force, said that such vocational training would constructively engage the unemployed youth and wean them away from anti- national elements and terrorist related activities. He further said that the course will help in providing self employment to the unemployed youth at their doorsteps and urged them to utilize this opportunity and derive maximum benefit. Dr Suresh Gupta, Director Animal Husbandry briefed the students about the benefits of dairy farming. Sanjeev Verma, DC Reasi felt that the course is a new beginning in providing a prosperous future for the youth and commended the initiative and positive role of the Army towards constructive engagement of the youth in employment oriented ventures. These trainees will be imparted training in Dairy Farming at Block Veterinary Hospital Reasi by professionally qualified staff in the field of Animal. During the course they will be taken to various Military and civil farms and the course will be authenticated by the State Animal Husbandry Department which will entitle the successful candidates in getting subsidized loans from banks under Self Employment Scheme. The civil dignitaries present on the occasion expressed their gratitude to the Army for providing employment oriented training to the unemployed youths of the area. |
