| Frame employment policy or face strike, Kavinder | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Oct 16 Urging government to frame a well knit and comprehensive employment policy for absorption of large number of educated unemployed youth in the state, BJYM warned that it would come to streets and launch a meaningful movement if the government failed to provide jobs to the educated unemployed youth by filling up all the vacant posts in one go. Addressing a function organized to welcome the joining of Jyoti Dogra and Avesh Sharma along with over a hundred supporters to the party fold, senior BJP leader Kavinder Gupta criticized the government for its negative attitude towards the educated youth, who are on strike for the last seven months in support of their demands.. BJP State General Secretary and Prabhari BJYM Shamsher Singh Manhas, State Secretary Yudhvir Sethi, District President Jammu Urban Kavinder Gupta, Distt. General Secretary (Org.) Mohan Singh Rana, Mandal President Janipur, Rakesh Gupta and Mandal General Secretary Praduman Singh were among others present at the function.. Speaking on the occasion, Shamsher Singh Manhas asked the youth to join BJYM through its membership drive launched by BJYM State President Pawan Khajuria in different parts of State including Jammu District.. He made an appeal to the youth that if they want to build a new India—India of their dreams, India with a vision of youth—free from the evils of social disparity and casteism and commitment to generate employment for all of them, then they must support and join BJYM. Yudhvir Sethi said that BJYM is striving to inculcate nationalist feeling among the youth of the country. The party requires youth who can fill this objective and can successfully coordinate the activities of the party in the different parts of State and Districts, he said and asked the party activists to work to make India free from fear, hunger and free from corruption. BJYM District President Pranav Gupta reiterated his commitment to strengthen the BJP and its youth wing in the state.
