A 12-year girl drowned in Neeru Nallah near river Chenab at Pul Doda today after she slipped into it while crossing the Neeru Nallah. Identified as Sehrish Bano D/o Nawab Khan, was a class 6th student of Pul Doda.
As per reports, she along with her mother was on way to her grandfather's house at Mughal Market Shiva Gharat when she suddenly slipped into the Nallah while crossing it and drowned. Her body was fished out from the Nallah in the evening by some locals and taken to district hospital for postmortem and later handed over to his family members for last rites. |
