| Army constructs bridge, road for Mendhar villagers | | | Early Times Reporter

Helping poor villagers of Mendhar, 25 Infantry Division has constructed a bridge over a river near Sagra in this remote corner of Jammu and Kashmir.
Reports said, 25 Infantry Division Major General Rameshwar Roy, VSM, dedicated a bridge and road to the locals meeting their long pending demand.
Major General Roy has asked the villagers to join hands with Army in combating militancy as it would bring peace and prosperity to the region.
The bridge would help villagers of Dabraj, Upper Dabraj, Sagra and Balnoi. Earlier, there was no bridge over the river near Sagra and consequently the people living on both sides of the river had to move on foot along the existing foot-bridge.
Villagers of Upper Dabraj, Choi, and Bacheri Mohalla had to trek long distances to their villages as there existed no road. |
