| Multi-lingual poetic meet organized | | | JAMMU AUG-19-Adbi Kunj held a special multi-lingual poetic meet here, which was presided over by Anand Lehar, an eminent Urdu writer and novelist of the sub-continent. Muni Lal Puri, a well- known figure of freedom struggle and R K Bharti journalist and a literary figure were the guests of honour.
Sham Talib President Adbi Kunj welcoming the participants said that the Adbi Kunj has been in the forefront for the last 33 years in organizing poetic and literary meets to infuse patriotic spirit among the people and recited a poem ‘Shaheedon Ke Naam’ while Talib Kashmir presented a song ‘Azadi ki Amar Kahani’.
The other participants who took part in the poetic meet included S S Anand Lehar, K K Shakir, Daya Ram Daya, Ushaq Kishtwari, Firdous Ahmed and several others.
Nargis Sitara presented vote of thanks.
