| JKNPP, Bhim –threat to nation: BJP | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Oct 17 BJP State unit president Ashok Khajuria today said that Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) has become a threat not only to Jammu province but also to the nation. In a press note, issued here today, Khajuria said JKNPP chairman Bhim Singh, who otherwise talks of Jammu province and integration of the state with the rest of the country, is simply doing exactly the opposite. “For the first time the Jammu candidates dominated the list of selected KAS candidates, but Prof. Bhim Singh at the behest of his Kashmiri masters, went to the Supreme Court and obtained a stay. It may be noted that the candidates belonging to Jammu province captured 97 of the 132 KAS positions. The manner in which Singh obtained the stay should prove that his attitude to Jammu province is as anti as that of Kashmiri leadership,” the BJP leader said. “Singh says that the parties like the PDP are promoting and patronizing terrorists. This is true. But it is also true that it is Bhim Singh who has not only secured the release of hard-core militant Bitta Karate, who is responsible for the massacre of dozens of Kashmiri Hindus, but also pleading the cases of the detained militants in the Supreme Court. This should expose his double speak and establish that his role is dubious,” Khajuria added. He further said that state BJP has pledged to expose the anti-Jammu policies of some parties and obtain for the people of Jammu and Ladakh their legitimate due share in polity and economic processes using all available means. |
