| Shiv Sena goes on selling spree | | Says, providing eatables on reasonable rates | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Oct 17 The activists of Shiv Sena Jammu Kashmir today installed stalls at Rani Park Jammu to provide vegetables and other eatables to people during Navratras. Various stalls were installed at Rani Park to provide people different vegetables other eatables at reasonable rates during the on going Navratras. Talking to Media persons, President Shiv Sena Jammu Kashmir, Ashok Gupta said that this is an attempt to give a sigh of relief to people during the festival as the rates of essential commodities have touched the skies. "It has become impossible for a common man to afford the costs of daily use commodities and it is an opportune time to give some sort of relief to the people during these Navratras by providing them some vegetables and other eatable items at reasonable costs" Gupta added. Decrying State government, he said that ever since coalition government took over, the prices of daily use commodities increased manifold as a result of which people of the state are faced with acute problems. "The rates of pulses, vegetables and other eatables are always on increasing side and how can a poor man of state afford to purchase vegetables at high rates," he asked. He further said that the present coalition government has no right to govern the state as it has failed at every front and should step down to pave way for fresh elections in the state. |
