Employees seek interim relief

The ousted employees of excise and commercial taxes sitting on dharna for the last 270 days have sought interim relief and redressal of their grievances.
Addressing J&K Joint Employees Federation (JEF) meeting here today, state president Santantar Bakshi said the ousted employees are facing miserable life due to the apathetic attitude of the government. He demanded that these employees be taken back in their respective departments. He appealed to both chief minister and finance minister to save these retrenched employees from starvation.
Among other who participated in the meeting were Ramesh Chander Sharma, Surinder Sharma, Sandesh Sharma, Nazir Ahmeb Bhat, Anjum Wazir, Shallo Ram Kundal, Ram Pal Sharma, Kuljit Singh, Subash Chander, mohan Kumar Girdhari Lal Parkash Singh, Ashok Singh, Puran Chand Sharma, Birbal Sharma and Mohd. Shafiq Maliq.
