| 72 lakh being spent on renovation of handicrafts showrooms | | | Early Times Reporter Srinagar | Oct 17 Chairman J&K Handicrafts Corporation Haji Abdul Rashid Dar has appreciated the employees of the Corporation for bringing improvements in its overall functioning. He said that the Corporation has registered 30 per cent increase in sale during first six months of the current financial year. Haji Rashid was addressing Arts Emporium Employees Union here today. The function was organized by the Union to bid farewell to the employees retired during last three months. Exhorting upon employees to work with dedication, Haji Rashid assured them all help in getting the grievances redressed. He said that a committee has already been constituted to work out rules to undo stagnation and look into pay anomaly. The Chairman said that Rs 52 lakh and Rs 20 lakh are being spent on renovation of twin showrooms at Jammu and Srinagar respectively. Managing Director A. M. Khanday also spoke on the occasion and highlighted the activities and achievements of the corporation. |
