One day ‘ Refresher Course’ for Adolescent Girls under ‘Kishori Shakti Yojana’ was conducted by Child Development Project Officer Purmandal at Bari-Brahmna. The girls were guided in nutrition and health related problems, social evils their remedial measures and women empowerment.
Director Social Welfare Jammu Mr. Satish Nehru was the chief guest. He impressed upon girls education and asked adolescent girls to avail the benefits from the scheme. Resource persons as well as supervisors delivered lectures on the subjects. |
