District Jammu clinched he inter-district Divisional level softball (under-19) boys trophy winning both the league matches played today at Green Field ground here. The competition was organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports.
In fact only three districts turned-up for the competition and the winner was decided on the basis of league matches played today. Kathua bagged runners-up trophy beating Udhampur a league round. Third team in the competition, the district Udhampur lost both their matches.
The winners trophy was presented to Jammu district by Assistant Director Youth Services and Sports, S S Bali.
The results (League round): Kathua bt Udhampur 7-1 Homes; Jammu bt Kathua 10-9 Homes and Jammu bt Udhampur 10-0 Homes. |
