| Another agent held for canvassing during B.Ed counseling in JU | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Oct 18 Maintaining strict vigil and transparency in the process of B.Ed counseling as per the directions of Director Colleges, Dr. Meenakshi Kilam, the authorities of University of Jammu today handed over another suspected agent to police on the charge of canvassing for particular B.Ed College. According to reports, a Rajasthan based man namely Abdul Aziz Azad was nabbed by the members of admission committee and security personnel and handed over to Jammu Police. A cash of Rs 45 000 was recovered from him while he had also two drafts of Rs 50,000 and 6000 in his possession. But today the counseling process continued smoothly there was no problems for the students as the authorities have made a suitable arrangements. According to reports, about seven hundred aspirants have been allotted colleges which break the previous record. Over 12000 aspirants have made admissions stated Director Colleges Meenakshi Kilam. |
