Metrology department today destroyed a large quaninty of Khoya in Raipur Satwari area which was seized from the Lower Roop Nagar area from many sweet shops. According to reports a team led by Inspector Kuldep Kumar raided these shops and destroyed the khoya.. Here it is to be mention that three days back the team seized about 110 kgs of Khoya from the market at Lower Roop Nagar area during checking routine. Reports said the metrology department launched a drive against the shopkeepers and other venders and during this period police seized a large quaninty of eatables and also destroyed a large quaninty of milk during routine checking in different parts of the Jammu city. Sources said during the fesitavls days the team visited many places of the city and take action against many shopkeepers who were indulged in adulterated items to the customers. |
