| Indian made foreign liquor seized | | | Early Times Reporter

The sleuths of Excise departmemt today seized a large quaninty of liquor from a vehicle coming from Punjab and also arrested two persons in this regard. According to reports the seluths of the department today received specific information that some persons are smgulling the liquor from Punjab, and departmental team swung into action and laid a naka in the area. Sources said during checking a team intercepted a Indico Car number HR04B/4404 and recovered 25 boxes of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) from the spot and also arrested two persons namely Sukh Chain Singh resident of Gurdaspur and Rangil Singh resident of Haryana and took them for further interrogation. Sourtces said during interrogation they revealed that they smugul liquor for a Jammu based bussinesman and a case under J&K Excise act also has been registered against them. |
