| Jammu’s victory run continues in hockey | | Inter-district competitions | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Oct 18 Jammu district boys maintained their supremacy winning their league matches in all the age groups of under-14, under-17 and under-19 year in the ongoing inter-district Divisional level hockey tournament under the banner of Department of Youth Services and Sports at K K Hakhu Stadium, here today. In under-19 age group, Jammu beat Poonch by four goals nil, followed by an easy 2-0 victory over district Rajouri in under-17 category. However, in under-14 age group, Poonch resisted Jammu boys from making it a big win and lost the match by a margin of one goal at 3-2. Earlier, in under-17 category, Jammu blanked Rajouri 2-0. Jaspreet Singh and Dilbag Singh were the scorers. The second league match between Jammu and Kathua ended in a 1-1 draw. Ravi Choudhary scored for Jammu while Abhinandan Singh equalized for Kathua. Another match between Rajouri and Kathua ended in a goalless draw. District Rajouri registered a big 4-0 victory over Poonch in the same age group.
