Early Times Reporter Jammu | Oct 19 District Level 15th National Children Science Congress was held at Shiksha Niketan Higher Secondary School, Jeevan Nagar Digiana, Jammu. The focal theme of the programme was “Bio Diversity”. The programme was organized by District Coordinator, Jammu, Arun K. Khajuria, Chairman of Public Technocrates Society (regd), Jammu and National Council for Urban & Rural Development, Jammu in collaboration with SCSTC Network, New Delhi. The programme was catalyzed and supported by Rashtriya Vigyan Evam Prodyogiki Sanchar Parishad, Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, New Delhi. More than 250 child scientists from more than 35 schools participated in this event. The programme was inaugurated by lighting the traditional lamp by Principal of the School, Mr. Mengi. First Eleven positions which were clinched by the child scientists included 1st position to Karan Damir (Model Academy), 2nd, 5th and 9th to Ms. Uttakarsha, Rishi Kaul, Ms Vishakha Sharma respectively (Presentation Convent School, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu), 3rd, 6th and 11th position to Preeti Kant, Aneet Kour and Varinder Mahajan ( Shiksha Niketan, Jammu), 4th position to Animesh Gulati from J.k Public School, Kunjwani, Jammu, 7th position to Navindu Khajuria (Jodhamal Public School, Jammu), 8th position to Pradeep Kumar (Govt High School, Satwari Cantt, Jammu) and 10th position to Rahul Sharma from Kendriya Vidyalya-I, Jammu. The programme concluded with prize distribution function which were given away by the Principal of the school. |
