| BSP demand probe into works undertaken in Vijaypur | | | EARLY TIMES REPORTER JAMMU | AUGUST 20 Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) has sought vigilance probe into the developmental works undertaken in Vijaypur Assembly segment and alleged that sub standard material was used in completion of these works. Addressing a party meeting at Ranjari in Vijaypur, Dr Sat Paul Member National Executive Committee and BSP coordinator has urged for a Vigilance probe into the development works executed in the Constituency at the behest of the local MLA who changed his loyalty and joined PDP. Sat Paul said that the BPL listed prepared by the concerned village level workers under the instructions of Block Development Officers was all fake as majority of the people living below the poverty line are not included in the list. The same was the condition of the old age pension, he said adding that the genuine and deserving people have been ignored and those financially well off incorporated in the list. The meeting also discussed various other issues relating to the party and the problems of the people of the area. Puran Chand, District President Jammu, Ajeet Raj Bhagat District Secretary Vijaypur Surinder Sharma Assembly President Vijaypur and Madan Choudhry General Assembly segment Vijaypur also attended the meeting. |
