| JU conducts trials for kabaddi team | | | Early Times Reporter

Department of Physical Education, University of Jammu today conducted selection trials for the all India inter-University men’s kabaddi tournament scheduled to be held from October 24 at Awadh University.
The event has been pre-poned thereby forcing JU to conduct trials and subsequently postpone the men’s inter-college competitions scheduled for October 22 indefinitely, said Assistant Director Physical Education, Dr Sonam Angchuk.
Earlier, in the afternoon, the selection committee of the University of Jammu supervised the trials and submitted a team to the Directorate of Physical Education.
Meanwhile, the coaching camp for the North Zone inter-university table tennis tournament is in progress at the University courts. The camp, which was started on October 15, is being conducted under the supervision of JU table tennis coach, Ramesh Magotra. |
