The army goodwill school, Patha, in Surankote district began a new trend in interschool competition by organizing a cultural competition under the guidance of 45 Rashtriya Rifles (JAT). Small children from five school participated in the event with attractive costumes and abundant talent which impressed all the people present. The chief guest Maninder Kaur Pama wife of Brigadier JS Pama, Commander, 6 sector RR, during her speech conveyed the various social welfare schemes the army through OP Sadbhavna is undertaking and also the proposed projects in future. She stressed that secure environment along with educational, mental, social, and physical development of school children is necessary to help them grow up into responsible citizens.
Various civilian dignitaries of the district attended the function and expressed their appreciation for the organizers. |
