Co-operative week is being observed from November 14 to 20 throughout the state. Various activities in this regard are being organized by the J&K Registrar of Co-operative Societies.
While addressing a meeting of cooperative officers, the registrar Dr. G.N. Qasba said that the activities in the area of banking, housing, dairy, consumer, agriculture, poultry, co-operatives and micro credit will he highlighted during the week. He said focus of the celebration will be on popularizing the cooperative model for inclusive growth. He stressed that both cooperative societies and self reliant cooperatives will participate together to make it ground success.
Among others R.S. Kotwal, Rajesh Kumar Sharma, B.S.Manhas, Chief Executive Officer, JK MPCL, Sanjeev Dixit, Amjad Afridi, Corporator, Ashok Goswami, Managing Director Citizens Cooperative Bank and Arun Bakshi, General Manager (Admn), JCC Bank were present in the meeting. |
