Medical. Vet camp held

As a part of ongoing military civic action programme, 40 Rashtriya Rifles (PUNJAB) under the aegis of Romeo Force organised a medical-cum-veterinary camp under Operation Sadbhavana at Primary School, Loran in Poonch district, today. A team of Medical Officers and Nursing Assistants from Army and Civil Hospital, Mandi rendered their valuable services at the camp.
The camp provided medical facilities to the people arriving from far flung villages. Immunization of children carried out under Nation Immunization Programme, Lectures of Immunisation, family planning, child health, hygiene and sanitation were also oranised to create awareness amongst local populace. Approximately 700 patients from various far flung villages availed the facilities provided. Free medicines were also distributed to poor and needy.
In his inaugural address, Commander 9 Sector Rashtriya Rifles thanked the civil administration for their active support and cooperation. The local people thanked Army and requested for more such camps in future in the region.
