| Panthers says Azad to blame for political uncertainty | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Oct 20 The PDP leadership has preferred to “ignore” the recent statement of the Chief of the state unit of,Mr Ashok Khajuria,in which he had compared the Panthers Party to a python.Leader of the Panthers Party in the Assembly,Mr Harsh Dev Singh said today “we need not take any cognizance of what Ashok Khajuria has said about us.” He said that the BJP is as much “scared “as the Congress was of the Panthers Party. In reply to a question he said that the ongoing conflict between the Congress and the PDP was going to prove advantageous for the Panthers Party. He stated that as a political observer he would blame Chief Minister,Ghulam Nabi Azad, for having nourished unprecedented political uncertainty. Harsh Dev Singh explained that the Chief Minister had raised high expectations among people by his big slogans of improving work culture through introduction of double shift system,by waging a war against corruption and when people found their expectations getting smashed to the ground they felt in the grip of severe political and administrative uncertainty. He said “I fail to understand why the Government, under the leadership of Ghulam Nabi Azad failed on all fronts when under the Mufti’s regime it was all smooth.” He himself answered it by saying that Mr Azad had opened many fronts, put the lid off several boxes of illusion, weaved a web of mess in which he ultimately got trapped. He said the Chief Minister should have studied the pros and cons of all his slogans and announcements. The result,Harsh Dev,added was that the Chief Minister himself had to admit that the pace of the development works had slackenedHe stated that the Congress led Government had failed in bringing down the level of corruption and unemployment adding that appointment in Government services on contract and on adhoc basis had opened flood gates of corruption. The Panthers Party leader said “we are happy over the mess in which the Congress is in. We alone can be the gainers in the next poll for which we have not to make much efforts for mobilizing voters support who,by now, have grown disenchanted with the Congress and the PDP. |
