Students of Frankfinn Institute of Air Hostess Training organized a dandia dance event in institute campus on the occasion of ‘Ashtami’, the eight day of Navratra.
The Dandiya evening brought with it an aura of traditional gaiety and the music brought the participants to festive mood.
There were endearing dances by students, looking adorable in their traditional outfits, with the dandia sticks synchronically clicking in all directions. While the boys were dressed up in Dhoti-Kurtas, the girls added glamour by dressing up in the traditional, colouful and flowing lahengas and dupattas.
The fun-filled evening was a much awaited respite for the students.
Competitions such as best dancing, best dressed male and female and best decorated dandia sticks at the event were conducted. |
