After allowing Delhi to set a big total of 364 runs and then making a meek surrender in reply to a big target, hosts Jammu and Kashmir were in trouble with first three wickets lost for just 30 runs in the opening day of the two-day game in the senior women’s cricket tournament at Sher-e-Kashmir Cricket Stadium, here.
Earlier, after winning the toss and decided to bat first, Delhi girls started their innings on a confident note and later declared their innings for 364 for two in 71 overs. In reply to a big score, J&K girls virtually surrendered before the bowling attack of visitors and lost first three wickets for just 30 runs on board in 18 overs game.
Two Delhi girls scored centuries while, from J&K, Meenu Salathia and Jyoti shared one wicket each.
