A grand programme on Dussehra was organised by Sanatan Dharan Sabha here today. The effigies of Ravana, Kumbhkaran and Megnath were burnt to mark the victory of good over evil .Earlier a shobha yatra was taken out which started from historical Raghunath Temple and culminated at the venue of the function. R.R Nirobkar of 80 infantry brigade was the chief guest. Speaking on the occasion Subash Kapoor chairman Municipal Committee congratulated the people on Dussehra festival and extolled the role of Army in bringing the normalcy in the state and thanked the ASP Sanjeev Khan and SHO Naresh Kumar Sharma on behalf of the people of the area to maintain vigil and to provide cordial policing. |
