| Painting competition held | | | Early Times Reporter

On the occasion of ‘Vijay Dakshmi’ a children’s painting competition was organized by J&K Fine Arts Society at Shiv Shakti temple Janipur here today.
Children from various schools participated in the competition and were asked to focus their painting on events in Ramayana, like Ram Bharat Milap; Sita Swyambar; killing of Bali and Ravana and return of Lord Rama to Ayodhaya. On the occasion prizes were given to the winners.
President of the society, Darshan Singh said that painting competition on Ramayana will be great source of inspiration for budding artists. Members involved in holding the competition were Suresh Sharma, Sanjay Kotwal, Dr. Sham Lal Sharma, and Rajinder Sharma. |
