| Bajwa lays foundation stone of drain | | | Early Times Reporter

An amount of rupees fine lakhs are being spent for construction of a drain in border village of Jassore of the tehsil. The amount has been provided by the member parliament, Rajya Sabha, Tarlok Singh Bajwa under MPLAD scheme.
Speaking on the occasion, Bajwa who laid the foundation stone said PDP is very keen to make life of people comfortable and free from tensions. During Mufti Mohd. Sayeed’s government, various development schemes for the welfare of people were started. About two dozen colleges and higher secondary schools were opened, he said and added PDP is committed for the welfare of people.
Welcoming the persons who joined the PDP during the function, Bajwa stressed upon there to work hard and apprise the people about PDP’s programme and policies. Highlighted the various problems of the area Bajwa assured them that the matter will be brought to the notice of concerned authorities. Among others present on the occasion were Koushal Sharma, Jasbir Singh, Gian Singh, Narinder Singh, Ashok Kumar, Vijay Kumar, Ajay Sharma and Sham Lal. |
