| Transfer of Dulhasti, a welcome step: Kichloo | | | Early Times Reporter

Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo, Member Legislative Assembly Kishtwar has hailed the decision taken by the Centre Government to transfer Dul Hasti Power Project constructed in Dul area of Kishtwar to the State, as all the three phases of the project were nearly completed in March this year by the NHPC.
National Conference leader said it is a welcome step as with the commissioning of this Power Project, the state of Jammu & Kashmir will be benefited a lot.
He impressed upon the Chief Minister – Ghulam Nabi Azad to intervene personally and give special share to the people of remotest District of Kishtwar out of the Dulhasti Project, who have contributed a lot during the construction phase of the Project and despite all odds, gave fullest cooperation for its completion.
He said people of the area have great hopes from this vital Project and now after the announcement from the Govt. of India regarding transfer of the project to the state government within couple of months, their hopes have been increased and now they are eying for a special share out of the Project.
He appealed the Chief Minister to see that just and genuine aspirations of the people of this far flung District are fulfilled without being betrayed. |
